Full Job Description

We are seeking a 2nd shift Powder Coater to become an integral part of our team. Powder Coaters perform tasks that are essential to our production processes.

Responsibilities

Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications.
Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
Effectively communicate any issues that arise during production with either, lead or supervisor.
Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Operate and maintain processing equipment including, but not limited to HVLP spray guns, electrostatic powder guns, fixtures, hoists, measurement devices and vapor degreasing equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.
Process and maintain waste water system.
Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
Understand, maintain, and trouble shoot all facets of the
8-10 hour shifts depending on workload

Skills

1-3 years’ experience in powder coating.
Ability to wear a mask or respirator
Be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Have basic computer skills.
Have basic math skills, i.e., be able to count, subtract, multiply and divide
Have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
