Full Job Description

We are seeking a 2nd shift Powder Coater to become an integral part of our team. Powder Coaters perform tasks that are essential to our production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.

  • Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications.

  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.

  • Effectively communicate any issues that arise during production with either, lead or supervisor.

  • Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Operate and maintain processing equipment including, but not limited to HVLP spray guns, electrostatic powder guns, fixtures, hoists, measurement devices and vapor degreasing equipment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.

  • Process and maintain waste water system.

  • Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.

  • Understand, maintain, and trouble shoot all facets of the

  • 8-10 hour shifts depending on workload

 

Skills

  • 1-3 years’ experience in powder coating.

  • Ability to wear a mask or respirator

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.

  • Have basic computer skills.

  • Have basic math skills, i.e., be able to count, subtract, multiply and divide

  • Have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.

  • Proficiency with hand tools.

  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

 

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
