CNC Operator/Programmer
Precision Jig & Fixture South - Duncan, SC 29334
Primary Responsibilities:
-
Program/Operate the 3/5-axis CNC machine to perform cutting

Quality checking machined parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers
-
Perform repairs where needed
-
Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations
-
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
-
Shift Schedule: 1st shift, 50-55 hours per week, Saturdays

Over-time expected
Qualifications and Skills:
-
CNC programming/operating experience,
-
Experience with CAM Software, WorkNC is preferred

Experience with FANUC and Heidenhain controls
-
Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
-
Must possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence and a positive attitude, open-minded, willing to learn new techniques
-
A minimum of 2 years of 3/5-axis experience
-
High School Diploma or equivalent is required'
