CNC Operator/Programmer

Full Job Description:

​

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program/Operate the 3/5-axis CNC machine to perform cutting

  • Quality checking machined parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers

  • Perform repairs where needed

  • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations

  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines

  • Shift Schedule: 1st shift, 45-50 hours per week; Mon-Fri, 7am Start

  • Over-time expected

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • CNC programming/operating experience with Plastic Mold Injections,

  • Experience with CAM Software, WorkNC is preferred

  • Experience with FANUC and Heidenhain controls

  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills

  • Must possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence and a positive attitude, open-minded, willing to learn new techniques

  • A minimum of 5 years of 3/5-axis experience

  • Experience in programming / operating Wire EDM and/or CMM a plus

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
